I have been coming to this salon and booking Kema for years now. She is the best to me because she has SOOO much knowledge and truly cares for your head! My daughter and I both go to her and she always has us looking and feeling so good when we leave! I hope Hair And Scalp Recovery Center is here in the valley, forever.

Kema is truly a hair therapist. She has been taking care of my hair for over 25 years and stays on top of her hair game!! My daughter cut her hair down to a pixy cut just 2.5 years ago and now it's so long and healthy. She colors my hair without damaging it. I absolutely recommend Kema at Hair & Scalp Recovery Center.

Had a wonderful experience getting a scalp treatment followed by a blowout and straightening. She is very knowledgeable and takes her time to truly understand the underlying issues I have been dealing with. Will be back again!

Kema was very talented, thorough with washing and confident in styling. I was very happy with my natural wash, press n curl. Turned out very light and refreshed with body. I'm on my way to a healthy start! I'll definitely be back and would recommend to anyone! Great job!!!

Kema took great care of me. She was able to educate me on my scalp condition an remedy the issue I came in for. I went in for a scalp detox and deep condition. My scalp feels so clean and refreshed. I highly recommend her services especially if you have product build up on your scalp from weaves and braids.

Awesome place, lots of laughs and they AWESOME hair.
Mrs. Kema is AMAZING!! I have locs and sometimes struggle with dry scalp and flaking. I love her scalp detox treatment and the overall peaceful atmosphere of her salon. I don’t know of many places where my hair and spirit get recharged simultaneously

I took my boyfriend here for a scalp detox treatment and Kema was absolutely amazing! She is super friendly and sweet and made him and I feel super comfortable coming in for our first time. Kema gave him a little consultation beforehand and educated him on better products for his hair care in the long term. You can really tell that she cares about her clientele and wants what’s best for your hair in the future, no oversell on unnecessary products and gets straight to the point. Will 100% be returning here for future detox appointments and other treatments as well. Let me just say that the vibe in her salon is amazing and welcoming and you will leave satisfied, happy, and feeling good! 10/10!

They were able to squeeze me in for a last minute and much needed appointment! From the moment I arrived, the staff was attentive, greeted me and provided me with the wait time. I was also educated on the best treatment options for my hair, considering that I have a scalp condition. In a short period of time, my hair was detangled, treatment was applied, hair was washed and conditioned, and then braided down. They were very considerate of my time and even tagged team to make sure I was able to finish my hair and make my next appointment on time. Needless to say, I made it on time and now my hair is done and so are my nails! I highly recommend this salon, it’s the hidden gem you’ve been searching for.

I just had my 12 year old daughters hair done here. Kema is warm and friendly, she did a great job with my kids hair (press and curl). Even made time for us on a last minute request for a Sat AM appointment. Very fair price for the excellent service. A very happy dad!!

Had my 1st appt here with Kema today. My scalp & natural hair needed some serious TLC. Like, It was scary at one point. Kema just worked a miracle & brought my hair to life as well as cutting a stylish bob for me. It’s been a rollercoaster with my hair since quarantine, but praise GOD I have some local hope & help now. Hit her up, especially if you live in the valley. She knows her stuff & another plus…she is friendly!

I must start by saying 5 stars is not enough to describe how good Kema is. Although she was very highly recommended, I am very selective about who I allow to style my hair so I must admit I was a bit skeptical about my first visit. My concerns were quickly put to rest as I sat in her chair. By the time she had finished I knew that I had found my new stylist. This is the place to go if you are looking for a hair stylist who is passionate about her craft. Kema is all about overall HEALTHY hair which is a bonus because you’ll walk out looking fabulous AND your hair will be healthy! I now consider my appointments as girl time because she’s honest, funny, and good at what she does. Don’t take my word for it though…..go check her out for your self!

Kema is the hair goddess of the valley. Not only does she do amazing hair she also offers recovery treatments to help your hair grow. I love that as most salons do your hair to be paid but never tell you what their doing is damaging to your hair. Not only can she hook up a fabulous weave she did some banging Goddess Locs that I couldn’t get enough of. She’s professional, quick and makes sure it’s one on one time for the client.
